Most galleries I've been into are slow moving and quite. The Louvre is anything but that.
For an establishment that boast one of the greatest collections of art in world. It's let down by poor management, over crowding and apathetic "volunteers".
It was saddening to enter every room only to confronted with deafening noise or having to push past people posing in front off these priceless works. People that couldn't be bothered to even look at the art.
I doubt anyone walks away with an appreciation of what they saw. Just the shallow knowledge of being six feet away from the Mona Lisa.
We should respect art, not take a selfie with it.
